Our Community.
Our Youth.
As former foster youth transition out of Child Welfare Services, a staggering 50% face homelessness within five years.
By age 25, half of them are unemployed, with a mere 4% obtaining a bachelor’s degree. These grim realities perpetuate generational poverty, abuse, and homelessness. However, united efforts can overturn these trends. Together, we have the power to uplift our vulnerable youth, shaping a compassionate and resilient community in the process. Join us by becoming a monthly partner.
Your support has the power to transform lives, ignite hope, and create lasting change.

About INSPIRE
What We Do
INSPIRE Life Skills Training Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been empowering at-risk youth for 20 years. INSPIRE exists to break the cycle of abuse and poverty through stable housing, education, training, and mentorship of foster and homeless youth. INSPIRE equips youth by helping students pursue higher education with the support they need for a smooth transition into adulthood.
Our Story
In 2005, Kristi Perez founded Inspire with a clear mission: to break the cycle of poverty and abuse through education. Armed with little more than determination, she rented a house and welcomed five former foster girls into the program’s inaugural cohort. Two decades later, over 300 young people seeking shelter and belonging have found refuge in Inspire homes. Inspire’s proven formula offers vital support, empowering these students to shape their futures.
